Drag racing semi-trucks (VIDEO)

by | Sep 26, 2024

Hi, my name is Lemmy and I enjoy the inappropriate application of power. It’s the lighter side of our mutual profession, I feel. I’ve written before about keeping your mojo flowing if the biz of fixing stuff is wearing you down. Here’s another way to do that: watch these killer drag racin’ big rigs.

YouTube knows me well and served this gem up the other day, and I could not have guessed I’d spend an HOUR watching this, but here we are. This is shot beautifully with POVs and on-board footage. It’s edited well, and the hosts are helpful. They explain the semi-specific track, do a good job speaking to the drivers (racers?) and getting info, and talk their way into a buncha neat ridealongs.

Trucks are raced bobtail and loaded double. Go watch. It’s a killer way to burn an hour.
